The May Day market was great. We had flowers to sell for the first time, a couple of bouquets and my favorite dark purple lilacs. And we had flowers to eat, You Cai and cauliflower.
I also set up my rugs and hats.

Look at that cauliflower! Seems really early - do you grow them in a hothouse?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful array of hats and rugs too!
Stacia, these are overwintering caulifowers. We start them in June in flats and plant them out 6 to 8 weeks later. There are varieties which will produce in January, February, March, etc. Territorial Seeds has a number of varieties.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see your market table in person someday. I'll have to check and see where the market is.
ReplyDeleteThe market is in Friday Harbor, WA. Definitely come and see us there.
