I got started on this year's first batch of rag rugs today. A friend gave me a really pretty plaid flannel sheet. it has stripes of blue and green and red and yellow and purple and I've found three solid colored sheets to go with it. I think it is going to be pretty nice.

I love how your rag rugs have that look of nice square little bumps. I'm also always wowed by your double-binding... I've tried it and although it's not theoretically hard, it's far from easy to get everything so nice and even and pretty!
ReplyDeleteSharon, I sett my warp at 12 epi and cut my fabric strips about 3/4" wide. Otherwise it is mainly a matter of doing it a lot and developing a rhythm.
