Flowers Inside

I just had to share this as there are a serious lack of flowers outside at this time of year.  This was a Christmas gift from our daughter, Jennie.  I love amaryllises in the winter.  This one just makes me smile when I look at it.

    Lovely to welcome you back Margaret and to see a photograph of one of my favourite flowers at this time of the year - the amaryllis. Here we have snowdrops and aconites out and the crocus are just beginning to show golden, but the weather is icy cold. Have you sewn any seed yet?

    I found one little aconite in bloom yesterday. I started the first seeds yesterday, a small flat of fancy echinaceas. It felt so good to open a seed packet and plant seeds.
